Essay 1-03a: Relationships

I watched 'Lilo and Stitch'. This movie thought me two things. The importance of family and friendship. When I watched this movie first, I only think that it is fun movie but I watched this movie second time, I feel to important things.

First, I talk about the importance of family. Lilo and her older sister don’t have their parents. So she feels lonely. One day, Lilo took an alien like dog, named Stitch. I think Lilo is very happy because she is no longer lonely. Her older sister always thinks about Lilo. She works for Lilo’s future.

Family is most important tie. Almost people spend with their family every day. I also spend with my family every day. So my family, especially my mother helps me whenever I have trouble. I have older sister and younger sister so I know both Lilo and Nani’s feelings. When I am with my older sister, I depend my older sister but I also think I don’t have to be worried her. When I am with younger sister, I think I have to be dependable and look after her. Family help each other like that. I think when I am with my family, It is the easiest time in my life. I special thanks for my family.

I also learn about the importance of friendship. Lilo sometimes fights with her friends so she doesn’t have real friends. Lilo and Stitch are family, also they are friends. Lilo cover up Stitch when Stitch play up toward people. By Lilo met Stitch, she could get her real friend.

When I am in the university, I am always with my friends. I talk about various things with my friends. I think if I don’t have friends, I couldn’t enjoy my life. When I have trouble, my friends give me advices. Reverse, when my friends have trouble, I think about together. So we support each other. Best friends are my good conferee. I want to cherish my friends forever.

I think these two relationships are essential for our life. So we have to cherish our family and friends and keep good relationship.

Essay 1-02b: University Life (rewriting)

Most KGU students feel comfort or pleasantness in the university life. But some of KGU students feel inconvenient in their university life. I would like to introduce what is inconvenient for students to spend university life. I will give three examples. How to going to school, when we do our homework, and spend lunch time and recess.

First of all, I’m going to talk about how to going to school. Most students go to school by car, bus, train, bicycle, motorcycle, or on foot. I usually go to school by train and on foot. I think train is cheap but it is inconvenient, because if we miss the train, we have to wait next train. In this instance, we sometimes wait more thirty minutes. Students who come to school by car, I think it is easy and convenient but there are a few parking area in KGU. And they need a permit to park their car. They can park Kenritsu Gekijou’s parking area but they should pay money. Students who come to school by bicycle and motorcycle, it is the most convenient I think. Especially go to school by bicycle. They don’t have to pay money and they never miss. However bicycles have one problem. It is inconvenient to go to school by bicycle rainy day. Even if they wear raincoat, their faces are drenched with rain.

Next, we have a lot of homework. We have to read books, write blog or some reports, and so on. It is too busy for me because I also have part-time job after school. Most KGU students have part-time job to earn money. Homework is important to study subject. But if we don’t have part time job, we can’t enjoy my free time. Some students may pay their school expenses themselves. So they have to earn money. Therefore, it is hard for us to spend after school.

Finally, I think recess is too short. KGU’s campus is very large but we have to move next class in ten minutes. So we sometimes have to run to next building or late for next class. When we spend our lunch time, many of the students go to cafeteria or bakery because it is cheap and delicious. Some students bring their lunch boxes or buy at convenience store.I usually bring my lunch box, but I want to eat in cafeteria everyday because it is hard to make my lunch in the morning.

I think university life is hard or busy, but I enjoy my university life because I can meet my friends in university. It is important to enjoy our university life. And we should challenge many things. It may be hard but we can spend a full university life.

Vacation plans

Summer vacation will come soon! I planed to go home stay in US but it canceled because of influenza. I was vary sad. However my friends asked me to go to Disney Land. We planing to go there now.
I will also go to camp in Otachi Misaki with my friends of Economic Reserch Club. I couldn't join camp last year so I will surely go to camp this summer.
I will go to see my friend in Fukuoka and go shopping with her.
I want to go driving school and get a license. I want driving license early and I want to go drive.

Honestly speaking, I was weak that write diary. But I think it is good write blog or diary because I can remember past memorial to read blog or diary. Especially blog, it can see other person's diary so we can know what others did or feeling. Also we can contribute comment. When I get comment from others, I feel very happy. Nowadays I enjoy writing my blog. I have another blog, written in Japanese. I can't renew my blog everyday but my friends often see my blog and give comment.

About my keitai

I think I don't depend on my cellphone but it is inconvenient if I don't have my cellphone. I have broken my cellphone before. While get my cellphone mended for a week, I feel inconvenient and uneasy. Because I couldn't contact my friends whenever I have business. I think cellphone is one of the necessaries of people life. I have used my cellphone about for two years. So it is sooner that decrease charge. I want to buy new one but I don't have enough money. So I use my present cellphone for some time.

I think that computer is very convenient but I am weak to use computer. I had not had my computer until two years ago so I didn't have many chance to use computers. Tinker Bell is very cute! And this movie makes me happy. I watched this movie with my friend. I also like 'the Pirates of the Carribien'. Because I like Jonny Depp very much. I watched the pirates of the Carribien 1, 2, and 3. Also I bought this movie's DVD. I watched 'Sleepy Hollow', starring Jonny Depp, but I couldn't watch enough because I don't like mysterious movie.

Foreign countries

I'm very interested in foreghin countries cultures. I have never been to abroad, so I want to go abroad someday. I want to visit Australia because I have never seen koala so I want to see them. Also I want to try to climb Ayers Rock. I also want to visit france because there are many famous buildings. For example, Versailles of palace. It is very beautiful palece. And I think French foods are very delicious and I like french foods! I learned French last year so I can speak French a little. I want to study French more.

I take many classes this year. For example, old Japanese literatures, American literatures, biology, history of England and so on. My favorite other class is American literatures because I am very interested in American literatures and movies. In this class, we sometimes watch American movies. We had watched 'the last of Mohecans' before. This movie is a little difficult for me to understand but I learned about Native American. I like history of England, too. I elected world history when I was a high school student. Then I had interest in world history. I'm specially attracted to Middle of Europe. So I enjoy to take this class.

Movie Review

I watched “Lilo and Stitch”. This movie released some years ago but I had never watched this movie. Recently I watched this movie for the first time.
I think that this movie’s theme is family. Lilo has no parents and her family is only older sister, Nani. Lilo has no friends so she always feels lonely. But one day, she met strange animal. She took him her house and she named him Stitch. Stitch has been her family. She was not lonely because she is always with Stitch.
What is the real family? Whether someone who have relationship with me are my family or not? I think yes. But I also think we can be family whoever have no relationship. In this world, there are many families without relationship. For example, adopted children. They live with their adopted parents. Some people say that they are not real family however I don’t think so. I think they are real family, too. Adopted parents think their adopted children are like their real children. I think this thought is the most important thing.
“Lilo and Stitch” was noticed me the importance of family. I think I am a happy person because I have family. I thought that I’ll cherish my family.

BR 1-10: Zippy Zebra Finds a Friend

I read “Zippy Zebra Finds a Friend” today.
Zippy has no friend. So Zippy tried to be friend Cheetah, Crocodile, and Lion. But Zippy’s mother said that they are not good friend for Zippy. I think Zippy feel lonely. In animal world, it is a world where the stronger prey upon the weaker. Zippy is a Zebra so Zippy can not be a friend with predatory animals. At last, Zippy could make friend. It is Zina Zebra. In human world, I think it is easy to make friends. It is fun to spend or talk with friends. Friends make me happy. I think if I have no friends, I feel very boring in my life. In my opinion, this book’s message is we are not lonely. We may have at least one friend. If you think that you don’t have friend, it just you don’t notice. So we should cherish our friends.

BR 1-09: Giraffe Goes Skating

I read “Giraffe Goes Skating” today. The Giraffe did not have helmet and kneepads. She thinks it is OK that she had no helmet and kneepads when she went skating. But it is dangerous for her. At last, she skated into the tree and went down. I think there are many children who don’t have helmet when they ride bicycle, skate, and so on. It is danger! Nobody can predict what happened. Helmet or kneepads save our body. So we especially children should use helmet. This book teaches for children how to save their own bodies. So I recommend that children read this book or parents read it for their children. It is good story, I think.

Hello. Nice to meet you. I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Risa. I’m nineteen years old. I like to watch movies. My favorite movie is “Pirate of the Caribbean”. I bought the DVD of this movie. I also like animals. I especially like cats. I have two cats. Do you have any pets? If you have pets, I’m glad and I want to meet them early.
I also like sweets and fried chicken but I don’t like mushrooms and spicy foods. In my childhood, I didn’t like vegetables and I couldn’t eat them but nowadays I also eat vegetables. However, I don’t like any vegetables now. For example, green pepper and broccoli.My family has five people and I have two sisters. One is three years older than me and other is six years younger. How many people do you have in your family?

I like shopping too. But this is the first time that I go to America. So I don’t know which goods are good or not. I also want to buy some souvenirs for my family and friends. Can you recommend something good gift or sweets and snacks? Please help me to buy souvenirs.

Recently I’m interested in cooking and I learned some recipes from my mother. When I go to your home, can you help your cooking and learn some easy cooking? I’ve started to learn cooking since only a month ago, so that I’m not good at cooking. But I hope I can learn at least one recipe.

How I study English

I'll talk about how I study English. First, I always listen to foreign music and sometimes turn word into Japanese. Also I sometimes turn my favorite Japanese music into English. BR 1-08: Rabbit and Hare Divide an Apple

I read “Rabbit and Hare Divide an Apple” today. The reason why I chose this book, the picture of Rabbit and Hare is cute. And this book sound interesting.

Rabbit and Hare loved to eat. One day they found a big mushroom. They divide this mushroom but not in half. One piece was a little bigger than the other. They scrambled for the bigger one. Just then Mr.Raccoon walked by and asked them what happened. They explain to Mr.Raccoon and he said that he had a good idea. He took a bite from the bigger piece and he said “I’ll make them equal.” But he ate whole piece. “Now we have only one piece of mushroom,” cried Hare. What’s more, Mr.Raccoon said that he know what to do. This idea is he bites other piece in half. But he ate the whole thing up the last. Rabbit and Hare cried. Mr.Raccoon left quickly. They went to find something else to eat. They found a big and round apple. Hare tried to divide the apple in half. But one piece was much bigger than other. They scrambled for the bigger one again. Mr.Raccoon came and said that he help them. But they were not deceived and turned back him. They split the big part and then they split small piece.

I think this is an instructive book for children. Because this book teaches for children that it is important to divide in half without scramble bigger one. So I recommend to read out for children. This is wonderful book!

BR 1-07: Nicky Upstairs and Down

I read “Nicky Upstairs and Down” today. The reason why I chose this book, I like cats and Nicky is very cute.

I’m going to talk about this book’s digest. Nicky is a cat and he lived with his mother in a small house which had a downstairs and an upstairs. When Nicky was playing, his mother called Nicky. He always answered “Here I am. I was down.” Or “Here I am. I was up.” He ran up and down the stairs all day long. One day, Nicky’s mother called Nicky but no answer from Nicky. Nicky was hiding. He was tired of running up and down all day long. His mother looked everywhere. His mother called Nicky again. Nicky came out and he ran halfway up the stairs. He called his mother and said “I’m right in the middle.”

Nicky is very very cute!!! And I think Nicky is a naughty cat. I have two cats and they also often run up and down the stairs. They like stairs, too. I like this story very much.
